Geocache Description:

A small cache in a fun location - cache like a Rock Star!

Congratulations to Elle70806 on her First First to Find!! (FFTF) Way to Go!

This is the fourth in the continuing I Don't Want to Grow Up Caches.

The fourth of these caches - I Feel the Need for (Extreme) Speed, will take you near a location where you can work out this need in a socially acceptable way. (Of course others will be there doing the same thing, so be warned.) This is not your typical speed experience of this type. Protective gear is required (and provided.) Timing for your experience will be reported down to the one thousanth of a second. For the experienced hunter, the hunting time for this cache might be inline with a typical lap time here, however less experienced hunters might find themselves a lap down pretty quickly.

Unlike the other caches in this series whose inpiration is targeted more at youngsters, and adults are welcome. The inspiration here is more directly targeted at a slightly older crowd, although younger folks can have fun too. Depending upon the time of your hunt, stealth skills may be neeed, but the hunt should not be that difficult.

You will need to bring your own writing stick. Please be sure to hide the cache as best as possible, so it might have a long, and un-muggled life.

PS: If you decide you want to exercise your need for extreme speed, post your best time in your log, and want some company, drop me an email, I would love to join others in exercising their speed demons.

A few requests:

  • Please place the cache back where you found it. Hints (wether in the description of friend lifelines) only work if the cache is in its original location.
  • Every effort has been made for accurate coordinates, but as we all know sometimes factors beyond the our control can throw things off. If you find that the coordinates are off by an unreasonable amount (the margin of error/accuracy for your GPSr), please post your find coordinates in your log as a waypoint. If a trend emerges I will gladly update the coordinates.
  • Please do not post any spoilers in your log that will give away either the location or the fun of the cache. If you really want to post something in your log that might cross the line, please take advantage of the ability to encrypt that portion of your log.
  • If the log is full, or the cache needs attention please include that information in your log.
  • If you made a good faith search, and came up empty please post a DNF log, or contact me - it is possible that the cache is missing, and this is the only way that I can know.
  • Have fun
