There are a few little hills and bumpy paths on the way there. Grandpa made the original cache and asked us to hide it for him. (It's been replaced a few times since.) Includes a log book, tiny pencil, and a few collectables. (Please put it back together just as you found it.) Have fun!
This spot is a nice sandy picnic area on the American River with a pretty little view. The cache was replaced on 4/3/22 with a new, different type of container after multiple losses. We like to visit this spot because it is shady and less crowded than other parts of the river. If you feel like more of a walk after you find it, there are other paths that split off from this one.
