Greetings Commander.
Situation:
The destruction of the Death Star and the death of the Emperor is not the end of our struggle, but rather the beginning of a new phase of operations against the remnants of the Imperial Fleet and the Provincial Governors. When the Death Star was destroyed debris rained down on the Forest Moon of Endor. The Ewoks discovered an important memory module intact among some of the wreckage, but before they could get it to us Imperial Stormtroopers intercepted them. To safeguard the memory module the Ewok war party concealed the module and attempted to evade the Imperial landing party, but took heavy casualties. One survivor managed to get away, but badly injured all he could do was put the co-ordinates for the memory module on a tag and secure it where he was hiding. When he was found by another war band he had died of his wounds, and they passed on that location to us, but none of them looked for the tag for fear they could give up the co-ordinates to the Empire under interrogation.
Significant enemy ground parties remain in the area but the Ewoks continue to successfully avoid them or use the terrain to ambush them where possible.
Mission:
You will land on the Moon, locate the co-ordinates and then secure the memory module without the Empire discovering you.
Execution:
Use the co-ordinates provided by the Ewoks to conceal your ship. Once on the ground you will locate the tag left by the Ewoks and proceed to recover the memory module. Use your discretion as to the route to take to the final co-ordinates. The terrain is rough and variable with many paths through the forest and water barriers. Avoid contact with Imperial Forces at all costs; they must not discover your mission.
Administration and Logistics:
You are entirely on your own in this mission; there will be no resupply from off planet or contact with the locals to avoid the Empire discovering your presence. Ensure your load-out is adequate for the task.
Communications and Signals:
You will operate under total communications blackout. The Empire must not suspect you are on the ground. Once you have the memory module return to Alpha Base.
