Nov 2003 -- Mar 16 2012 Love ya Girl......

This is a seed cache from Puppy Luv GC1A46G in Iowa. The only instructions given for this cache were to use it to honor the dogs in our lives. We had two special Geo-Dogs in our family; Peyton came into our lives on Superbowl Sunday 2005. We adopted her to keep our high energy Husky mix, Sasha(GC3H6YK), company. She was a bi-eyed, Aussie/Husky mix who was sweet to the core and tolerated everything our toddlers could dish out. She taught Sasha to howl, to catch food and her herding instincts helped us corral Sasha and our boys. She loved to sunbathe and swim and three years ago developed Diabetes and lost her vision. Peyton didn’t let that stop her from living life; in fact, Peyton “saw” more after going blind. Three summers ago the kids went on a trip with their grandparents. We decided to do the same but caring for a Diabetic dog isn’t easy so we loaded our dogs into the Jeep and never looked back. All together in the last three years, our girls have visited 18 states and logged a couple thousand miles caching! We lost Peyton March 16, 2012 and life just isn’t the same without her. I was lying with her on our living room floor when she took her last breath at 4:25am. We picked up this seed cache on a cache run shortly after Peyton died. To honor her, we chose to hide our Puppy Luv Caches at a place our girls would frequent with us on our adventures. Love ya girl. BYOP
