Околчица е връх с височина 1048 m във Врачанската планина, където се намира Национален парк “Христо Ботев” (на около 20 км югоизточно от Враца). На Околчица на 2 юни 1876 г. се разиграва последната битка на Ботевата чета.

На връх Околчица през 1938 г. за увековечаване подвига на Христо Ботев и неговата чета е издигнат 35-метров паметник с опълченски кръст. В падината Йолковица, естествена канара с издълбан върху нея надпис бележи лобното място на поета-революционер. През 1947 г. кръстът на паметника е заменен с петолъчка. През 1991 г. отново се връща автентичният вид на паметника.

Околчица е сред Стоте национални туристически обекта. Печат има в къщата-музей "Баба Илийца" в село Челопек.

Всяка година на 2 юни в района се провеждат национални тържества в чест на Христо Ботев и всички паднали за свободата на България. На 1 юни пристигат и участниците в националния туристически поход по стъпките на Ботевата чета по алеята от Козлодуйския бряг и се изгражда палатков лагер. Освен Ботевата алея има много други маркирани туристически маршрути. През лятото има редовен автобусен транспорт от Враца, а през останалите сезони — до село Челопек, откъдето са още 8 км.

Okolchitsa is the peak height of 1048 m in Vratsa Mountain, where the National Park "Hristo Botev" (about 20 km southeast of Vratsa). On the Okolchitsa peak On June 2, 1876 took place the final battle of Botev's volunteers.

On the Okolchitsa peak in 1938 to perpetuate the heroism of Hristo Botev and his detachment was erected 35-foot monument Volunteer's Cross. In Yolkovitsa depression, natural rock with an inscription carved on it marks the place of death of the poet and revolutionary. In 1947 the memorial cross was replaced with a pentagram. Okolchitsa is one from The 100 Tourist Sites of Bulgaria. You can get a stamp (seal) from house-museum "Baba Iliytsa" in the village Chelopek.

Every year on June 2 in the region there are national celebrations in honor of Hristo Botev and all fallen for the freedom of Bulgaria. On June 1, arrive the participants in the national hiking in the footsteps of Botev along the alley of Kozloduiski Briag and build a camp. Besides Botev's alley there are many marked hiking trails. In summer there are regular bus transport from Vratsa and in other seasons - to the village Chelopek, which is 8 km far from Okolchica.
