Spencer Island is a jewel hidden within the Snohomish River Estuary.
I recently archived a cache on Spencer Island: Hating Spencer Island. The trail used to circumnavigate the island, but nature has reclaimed it, there's no reason anybody should be bushwhacking to find a cache on this island.
I learned to hate Spencer Island when I had to bushwhack through a forest of 5 foot tall nettles getting to EraSeek's Mapping Spencer Island cache.
Here's my Log from June 19, 2009. :)
