Easy terrain with paved walkways. Easy find. Recommended during daytime hours. However, if you are just going to see the statues kiss at night and not getting out of your car then you should be fine.
I love a good haunted tale so I decided to do a series of caches dedicated to this.
Here is the Story of The Kissing Statues
This one is more towards the romantic side, but still a little haunted.
It is an intricate, life-size, and exquisitely rendered likeness of an eternally loving couple. every tiny fold of fabric and bulge of vein under the skin is delicately and perfectly carved. It is so life like that you might expect this pair to take a breath or turn their eyes upon you at any second, even in the bright sunshine.
However, nighttime is when this pair turns from statuary into local legend. It is said that if you pull your car around the drive behind the couple and shine your bright lights on them, the statues will turn and share a long, loving, spectral kiss.
Eerie, yes but the twist makes this an unforgettable graveyard visit.
