This cache is located off of the Toby Creek Greenway in Charlotte.
Recommended parking locations added as the most convenient location to park is technically off-limits without a UNCC permit.
For me, geocaching is all about the adventure of finding "Treasure" in the great outdoors. Although LPCs, guardrail hides, and other urban caches have their place, it's the ammo cans and Lock&Lock containers in the woods that get me the most excited. After all, Geocaching is defined as a "real-world treasure hunting game" by geocaching.com, and to me finding "Treasure" is not a 35mm film can under a lamp skirt.
So, with that being said, I will be hiding a series of caches in ammo cans and Lock&Locks in the wooded areas of Mecklenburg and Cabarrus counties filled with "Treasures" for others to find.
I hope everyone enjoys the caches and good luck hunting these "Treasure" boxes!
