Easy Letterbox cache on territory of Pulkovo astronomic observatory.
This is the first cache of this type in Russia and I hope, not the last one.
The cache contains: logbook for geocaching, pencil, sharpener, logbook for letterboxing, stamp for letterboxing. Letterboxing stuff is packed separately. Please do not remove stamp or letterboxing logbook out of the container!The container have enough place for trackables.
The coordinates will lead you to a place before the main building of Pulkovo observatory. To find the cache you should:
1. Turn right and go 120 meters, bearing 240 degrees;
2. Turn left and go 310 meters, bearing 171 degrees;
3. Turn right and go 50 meters, bearing 258 degrees.
As this is Letterboxing, neither coordinates of the final location are given nor you should calculate them. Just follow the pathways and count your steps ;) Distances and bearings are not absolutely precise.
There you will find a building. It looks abandoned but this is not so. Before this building there is a big crate on metal rails. Look under this crate and you will find what you look for.
How to get to: subway station Moskovskaya (blue line) then by bus no. 90, 155 or minibus no. K18, K290, K403
