This cache is NOT at the posted coordinates.
This is a Wherigo cache. To complete this cache you will need two things:
1) the Wherigo Player on a device capable of running it;
2) the Little House on the Prairie cartridge. More information about the Wherigo experience can be found at wherigo.com.
The posted coordinates will take you to a restored prairie near the entrance to Governor Dodge State Park. Native prairies formed in this area about 8,000 years ago. Originally there were 2.1 million acres of prairie in Wisconsin, but today only 2,000 acres remain.
Join Pete the Prairie Dog on a tour of this restored prairie. Along the way you'll learn about 8 different aspects of a prairie. Correctly answer a question at each stop and you will earn the coordinates of the final cache container.
This is a fragile environment. Please stay on the trail during the tour. The wherigo zones are larger than necessary to avoid the "GPS dance" that might lead you off the path. There is an unregistered Wherigo mini coin for the FTF. The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Kathleen Gruentzel of the Wisconsin DNR.
Congratulations to kungfuhippie on the FTF
