Geocache Description:

A cache set and placed by the 6 year old, who has been enjoying some of the local tree climbs. You'll probably need gear of some sort or another to collect this one, which is about 4-5m up. It was placed using ascenders. The cache is named after Tree Fu Tom, a CBeebies character, who according to the BBC:

is able to create magic by doing sequences of cool-looking, simple, fun movements called 'Tree Fu'. Using Tree Fu, Tom is able to transform into a magical superhero, travelling to 'Treetopolis' - an enchanted, miniature world nestled in an ancient tree at the bottom of his garden.

As you may have guessed, the 6yo cannot transform herself into an animated hero via Tree Fu, but, rather handily, she is one of the lead members of Super Cats who have perfected their ninja moves, use their bag of spells to defeat nafarious villans and are dab paws when it comes to climbing.

Meow, meow, meow! Super Cats to the rescue!

As with all caches, please take care!

Footnote: this is Tree Fu Tom mark II, as the first one (a narrower container) plummeted into the depths of the tree, ne'er to be seen again!

Update 02.09.12. There is a 35mm film can inside the main container to keep the log book dry. Sorry to make things more fumblesome at the critical moment! Also, I can attest that this can be tackled equally well as a free climb or with ropes and ascenders.
