Tupperware container with log and room for small objects. The cache is hidden well around the boarded up Morgue. Another cache is nearby, but Cache Interrupted is not visible from the path.
This cache is located on the grounds of Harrisburg State Hospital and along side the Capitol Greenbelt Trail. Previously known as the Pennsylvania State Lunatic Hospital, these grounds were home to thousands of patients throughout its years of service lasting from 1845 to 2006.
Known to locals as the "City on a Hill", the hospital was completely self-sustaining. Patients participated in work therapy on the adjacent farm which provided their produce and livestock, an operational power plant runs to this day, and stores, museums, morgues, and laboratories kept the hospital running.
Girl, Interrupted, starring Angelina Jolie and Winona Ryder, was filmed completely on the hospital grounds and the surrounding Harrisburg City.
