MLRTR #50
Yep, more.
You will have to leave the trail to find this one.
So this one is where I stopped on this day of hiding. I dragged the Hooligans along with me and this was a monumental walk for them(from hwy 7/12). They'd had enough and The Mutt was tired too.
You will have noticed that this section of trail has a different kind of tube being used. I had to go this way because the other kind(pointy bottom) came with too big of price tag. So I ended up buying a case of these smaller ones. They are not as tested as the other ones, but they should keep the logs dry and be easy enough to find.
The other thing I noticed about this day, is that the last update for my GPS really messed up the accuracy of the waypoint averaging. On my way back to the car I checked all the coords for the caches and found them to be anywhere from 3 - 7 m off. I corrected them as I went but I'm not confident all the co-ords will be bang on like the last sections. So, if you find they are off, by all means, take new ones, post them with your log and I will update accordingly.
