Please know that the Indiana reviewers have done everything in their power to keep as many caches as possible on IDNR lands and to make this transition as smooth as possible. They have worked long and hard with the IDNR to come up with a new policy that will work for most cache owners. We are very sorry for any inconvenience the implementation of this permit process may cause.

Geocache Description:

The hard one.................

CTFAC V

For The Birds...............

This cache is being placed for the Caching The Falls At Clifty Park event for 2012.

This cache is a beautiful hike from the Nature Center and should take about an hour round trip. The hike down is pretty easy but take your time coming back up.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FIND CACHE AFTER A HEAVY RAIN OR HIGH WATER!!!!

You are looking for a medium sized military container sitting on top of what used to be an old well or cellar from the early days. At one time, this was over 5 feet deep until the park personell filled it in with the current creek stones. There is a lot of wildlife to view along the way including deer, turkey, fish and snakes.

Should be an easy find once you get down there.and please place back the way you found it.
Enjoy the cache and the park.........TMC.
