Farmington City trail Map refers to this as the "Steed Subway" The "subway" is half mile long natural channel in a trough leading up the ridge. Its also called the Spine Trail. Either way, this is a wonderful place to rake a break along the way and enjoy the 360 degrees of spectacular views.
