El castellet son las ruinas de un castillo musulmán. Puedes ir desde el embalse de Guadalest o desde Castell de Castell, hacía PRV-19-150. Ambos caminos se encuentran en un cruce llamado el Collado del Castell ( 38º42'16" N, 0º11'49 W ) y desde ahí se sube por el camino PRV-149 hasta 38º42'25" N, 0º12'07" W donde encontramos un camino que sube al castillo.
La ubicación exacta del tesoro es 38º42'22" N 0º12'09" W.

El Castellet, es un cerro de 1.050 metros de altura situado entre las sierras del Xortá y Serrella desde el cual se divisan impresionantes vistas del norte de la provincia de Alicante. Mirando al norte se observa el valle de Castell de Castells, al Este las Sierras de Bernia y Xortà y la localidad de Tàrbena, al Sur el valle de Guadalest que se abre hacia el mar hasta Altea y la Sierra de Aitana y al Oeste la Sierra de Serrella.
En lo alto del cerro se encuentra un castillo conocido como el Castell de Serrella o Castellet de Benimantell. Se trata de un castillo de época musulmana que a partir de 1290 entró a formar parte del señorío de Sarrià. El castillo está en ruina total, son escasos los vestigios de lo que fue la fortaleza. En el recinto permanece el aljibe en buen estado, todavía almacena agua en épocas de lluvia, restos residuales de la muralla y una torre de planta cuadrada al lado del aljibe. En lo alto del castillo todavía quedan restos de otras edificaciones.
Existen dos formas de acceder:
⁃ Desde el embalse de Guadalest:
Para llegar al embalse de Guadalest desde Alicante cogemos la autovía A-7 y luego la autopista AP-7 hasta Benidorm, luego tomamos la CV-715 hasta Callosa d'en Sarrià donde cogemos la CV-755 hacia Guadalest. Antes de llegar al pueblo nos desviamos a la derecha por el camino que indica embalse de Guadalest. Desde la pared del pantano de Guadalest (de donde pueden empezar a andar los más atrevidos) seguimos el sendero PRV-19 que rodea el vaso del embalse por su orilla Norte después de 9,8 km llegamos al Collado del Castell (donde se recomienda dejar el coche a quien no lo ha hecho antes) donde hay que coger el camino de la izquierda, PRV-149, hacia el Castellet, tras una cuesta muy empinada cogemos a la izquierda del camino la senda de acceso al castillo.
⁃ Desde Castell de Castells:
Para llegar a Castell de Castells desde Alicante se coge la autovía A-7 y luego la autopista AP-7 hasta Benidorm. Desde Benidorm por la CV-715 Tàrbena de aquí a Castell de Castells por la CV-752. Un kilometro antes de llegar a la localidad de Castell de Castells hay que coger un camino que sale al margen izquierdo de la carretera donde indica el sendero PRV-19-150 (a pueden dejar el coche los que tengan más ganas de caminar), seguimos este camino 3,9 km hasta un cruce en el Collado del Castell (aquí se recomienda dejar el coche a los que no lo han hecho antes) donde se coge el camino de la derecha (PRV-149) hacia el Castellet, tras una cuesta muy empinada cogemos a la izquierda del camino la senda de acceso al castillo.
Una vez se coge la senda del castillo accedes al recinto, a la izquierda se encuentra el aljibe, atraviesas la explanada del aljibe siempre siguiendo el sendero de ascenso, el tesoro se encuentra a la derecha, cerca de los restos de muralla que encuentras ascendiendo a la fortificación después de pasar el aljibe.

El Castellet is a 1,050 metres high hill situated between Xortá and Serrella mountain range, where you can enjoy impressive eyesights of the north of Alicante province.
Looking north you can see the Castell de Castell valley, looking to the east Bernia and Xortà mountain range and Tàrbena village, to south you can see the Guadalest valley and the Altea village near the sea and finally west the Serrella mountain range.
At the highest part of the hill there's a castle called as Castell de Serrella or Castellet de Benimantell. It was a muslim castle and since 1290 belonged to Sarrià domain.
There's only a few parts of the castle to see, because it was devastated in the course of its life. In the place there`s a old tank that holds water at rain's time, a tower beside it and a few wall parts. At the top of the hill there's rest of buildings.
how to get there:
- From the Guadalest's reservoir:
To arrive to Guadalest's reservoir from Alicante City we have to get the A-7 highway to Benidorm, then we get the CV-715 to Callosa d'en Sarrià where we get the CV-755 to Guadalest. Before arrive to Guadalest village we have to turn right where indicate "embalse de Guadalest". From the reservoir wall, where the most adventurous people can start hiking, we follow the path or "ruta" PRV-19 that go around the reservoir for the north face and 9,8 kms after we arrive to Collado del Castell where we recommend you to leave your car if you get there with it, at this intersection we have to turn left, PRV-149, to the Castellet, then we have to walk up the soaring hill road until we find the left the path that lead us to the treasure
- from the Castell de Castells
To arrive to Castell de Castell from Alicante city we have to get the A-7 highway to Benidorm, then we get the CV-715 road passing through Tàrbena until Castell de Castell taking the CV-752 road. One Km before arrive the Castell de Castell village we have to turn left to a small road that indicate PRV-19-150, where the most adventurous people can start hiking 3,9 kms until the Collado del Castell intersection, at this intersection we have to turn right, PRV-149, to the Castellet, then we have to walk up the soaring hill road until we find the left the path that lead us to the treasure.
Once you take the path to the castle you walk up until find a old tank, then you go through the terrace nearby the tank, always following the path, the treasure is at right side near the rest of wall that you find walking up to the fortress building. The treasure is an ammo box situate exactly in 38º42'22" N 0º12'09" W.
