Spring Head Road is a 'rat-run' often used by locals travelling between Axminster, Raymonds Hill and Uplyme.
This relatively high road offers a view of the Harcombe vale, the summit of Golden Cap, the highest point on the south coast, the eastern limits of Lyme Bay, and on exceptionally clear days, the distant isle of Portland.
At the time of placement, the cache contained a logbook & pencil in watertight bag, a collectible QR code, and various swaps. Please swap for items of equal or better value and desirability.
Caches to grab whilst in the area include 'Cache Speak' (GC2EF33), 'Mrs Henry Wood...' (GC1DVHT) and the 'River Lym Walk' series (GC3BDZF), and there are several others within a few miles.
