Geocache Description:

A small container (slightly larger than a film cannister)- large enough for most geocoins-- contains log, but bring your own pencil-- well cammoed

HOME is a word that means many different things to different people. This area (part of what was known at The Pine Islands of Northshore) was once an Estuary-- a HOME to many birds and young marine life. A few years back, the developer of the Northshore neighborhood fought in court for the right to create new HOMESITES (the people-kind) on the Pine Islands. After a tough battle with an environmentalist group, the developer prevailed. Bridges were built to the Islands, lots were cleared; but, by then the Real Estate market had slumped. Now the land sits mostly empty, waiting for the fancy houses to appear. In the meantime, this little cache is making itself at HOME.

**Always CITO, please. Thank you!
