This is the former entrance to a monestery that used to be here. It was an imposing two storey structure, that was abandoned long ago. I was lucky enough to have come a couple of times before they tore it down. Unfortunately, they had to bulldoze it because kids used to come out here drinking all the time. Became quite a party place. Neat to see the gate posts still there. When approaching from the east, you can still see the entrance on the old man-made hill that contained their cold storage.
It was a great structure in it's day and it's sad that it is gone.
