Placing the cache! and, ahem, checking the DEPTH!!
NOTE ....... I recently had trouble getting the container back onto the stump myself!!!! (many remark it is harder to replace than retrieve) I have added my phone number in the cache should anyone find it impossible. A TIP .... USE GRIPPY GLOVES and utilise the split in the branch to grip the cable tie.
This road can be quiet at times but extra care should be taken at to and from school and work times. Remember this is a rural location and there is a likelihood of farm traffic at all times.

There are a range of container types in this series ranging from micros in sticks to medium size boxes. This container is small so is be able to hold small Tb's or Geocoins.
There are 2 gated entrances into the field, please park infront of the one nearest to the T junction (not blocking the road) as the farmer uses the second gate on a regular basis. Please note that animals may be present in the field even if not initially visible. Please close the gate behind you, upon entry and exit. Due to cattle or sheep being present will you please refrain from allowing dogs access into the field.
Please note this cache WILL require specialist equipment (see note), well either that, or, just GO FOR IT!! It has been placed with the land owners permission, so if he turns up please introduce yourselves. Please replace cache as found, also the specialist equipment if you use it!

The object here is to retrieve the cache from its position on the pond using the 'specialist equipment', sign the log and replace as found. It has been tested out and it is JUST possible to retrieve and replace the cache without getting wet. Note. The equipment is slippery and bendy and gets rather heavy after just a few moments.
I suggest taking spare clothes JUST INCASE.
NOTE: The 'specialist equipment' is located on the semi island of the pond, and (at the time of placement) is leaning amongst the branches of the multi trunked tree. It is rather long and green and bendy and resembles a branch!
REMEMBER, JUST BECAUSE A CACHE IS PLACED YOU DO NOT HAVE TO ATTEMPT IT. Please remember to keep geokids and animals (and yourselves) safe at all times. Especially at this cache!! the water has been unfortunately tested to over 4 foot 6 inches depth, also the bank is slippery.
Enjoy the series - all the others are drive-bys, but could be walked or cycled, but again please be aware of traffic at all times.
