This is the first cache in a series that will be dedicated to the scenic byways of New England and New Hampshire. Off the beaten path, and without the hustle and bustle of the heavily traveled routes that muggles prefer.
You're searching for a camouflaged pill container hidden in an easily accessible area.
There may be a bit of poison ivy near the GZ, wear pants. Also, watch for broken bottles before you put your hand in potential hiding spots.
The GZ is located on Nute Road, which is known as Governor's Road north of NH 75 and south of the Rochester city limit. The name was given to the highway from Portsmouth to Governor John Wentworth's summer estate in Wolfeboro. Passing through Newington, it crossed the Piscataqua River at Knight's Ferry to Dover. From Rochester it skirted Teneriffe Mountain to Middleton Four Corners. Rounding Moose Mountain to Union Meadows it passed through Brookfield, arriving at Wentworth House. The fifty mile highway was completed in 1769.
Governor's Road (also known by NH 108, Chestnut Hill Road, Nute Road, NH 153 & Ridge Road in certain locales) is a great alternative to NH 16 when heavy traffic transforms 16 into a parking lot.
Congrats to Team Brehm on FTF.
