Geocache Description:

Lanton Linn Westqarter Glen .

.. The Lanton Linn seems to have been the most popular of the waterfalls as it appears in the old postcards of the area, the walks around Westquarter have always been popular and on a Sunday when the Glen was open to the public it cost an old penny to come in and walk round the Glen, the bridge thats there now is a modern replacement of a more rustic one that appears in the old postcard photos. The Lady's Linn, well there's not much I can say about it, I've never discovered which of the Ladies who graced Westquarter it was named after I'm afraid, and truthfully I thought it was the waterfall half way along the old avenue running through the glen.
