Highway 212 was created in 1926 and stretches 949 miles long from Edina, Minnesota to Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. Of the near 1,000 miles of highway, 160 miles are in Minnesota. Its original designation was Yellowstone Trail, but was later changed to Minnesota Veterans Memorial Highway.
