Geocache Description:

The Forest School was part of the Yelm School District in the early 1900’s. The school board called for a special election for the purpose of determining what to do with the Forest School property. Many school board decisions at that time were a result of the Depression. On February 7, 1931, the Forest School property was sold to the Deschutes Grange for $300.00. You can still see the bell tower that was commonly used by the small schools of that era.
Please be respectful if grange is being used for any events. Ample parking. Short walk behind building.
