Do you want to experience geocaching in the Mojave Desert, 80 miles of caches every 0.1 miles away. Well the old train line is as close to Rte 66 as we have in Oxford County, and it stands in as a remarkably good alternate experience if you can't make it to the desert. The first part of this experience keeps you in your cars. Eventually you'll have to walk on the non-motorized portion of the trail.
To start, we are posting twelve caches that are easily accessibly from your vehicle. This is remarkably similar to the Rte 66 Challenge:
* the road is straight and essentially empty
* the cache containers are all hidden in the same way, about 600+ feet apart
