Come along to the TT 2012 Event cache!
The idea is to meet at the given co-ordinates which you will discover is the Millennium Oakwood! Meet at 6.30pm on the 30th May (Practice Week) at the Sword of State monument where you will be greeted by myself and asked to sign the log book, mingle and chat with local and visiting geocachers about all things caching!! Feel free to bring along and TB's, Geocoins to swap/ discover!
After the formalities and some group photographs, there will be a Geocaching activity for everyone to take part in with a little bonus. There is also a mystery geocache I have placed that will hopefully have been published well before the event, where initially the co-ordinates can only be obtained by attending the event! Once the event has passed I will alter the cache listing so the mystery cache will be available to all! Don’t forget to bring your GPS device as you will need them.
If you plan to attend please log a ‘will be attending’ below so I can plan accordingly and also keep a close eye (watch the listing) for any updates especially closer to the time! Being an outdoor event it will be weather permitting!
There are 2 parking areas which have been indicated lower down, the whole area is more or less wheel chair friendly! Please be aware this is a popular area for dog walkers, so watch your step!!! There are no facilities nearby unless you count the hospital; the event shouldn’t last for more than an hour!
Please come along and spread the word, the more the merrier! And if you are visiting the Island for TT don’t be scared to come along and say hello!
