In 2011, we started a geocaching club and recently attended our first "event" (Easter Egg Hunt of 2012"). We were impressed, had a great time and decided to host our own in the beautiful Adirondack mountains, in Elizabethtown, NY on June 23rd, from 9a - 2p.
We chose to host the event to be similar to the "Easter Egg Hunt of 2012", in that we will hide apx 40 caches for participants to find. Some easier, some more difficult, on the Blueberry Hill trail system. In each cache, seekers will find a raffle ticket, which can be redeemed for a prize at the starting point.
There will be a cookout provided, with refreshments and (hopefully) our agency band will have found a new lead guitarist by then and can provide entertainment for all of us. Bring you kids, dogs and if you would like to bring a dish or contribute prizes, please contact me (Diecastman). Please post a "will attend" log, if you opt to join us. We would love to have a big crowd!
