Since we frequent the Shawano County area quite a bit, for caching, casinoing, and other things, a recent addition has caught our eye, Barn Quilts, started in 2010 by James Leuenberger, today there are over 167 quilts adoring barns and businesses in Shawano County, so we are doing our part to include these gems on your visit. This cache was placed in honor of grandaughter Megan, who loves horses. And there are quite a few in this neighborhood. You may need a stepping stool to reach this one. No access from HWY 29, need to get of on Hwy 117 and go to Bonduel! The Quilt can be seen across HWY 29, from this cache location.
