Cache is located at an ex state picnic area taken over by the town of Waterford. Parking for several vehicles, there are also some picnic tables, which although in disrepair, still are usable. Area is used by fishermen which may explain why two of the previous caches located closer to the water have been muggled. Cache is now in a more remote area.
Located in heavy tree cover next to the crooked river it is a very nice area to stop for a lunch. Crooked river eventually runs into Sebago lake and several miles downstream it becomes deep enough to kayak or canoe with a few portage areas. Cache is a regular lid sealed container in traditional hiding spot.
