We walked to the new cache in the area (GC3H9BZ) and so spotted something we may not have seen if we had been on a bike. Unlike some cachers who also found this cache, this was an immobile something that was officially wrong. We wanted to put a cache here but, as we didn’t have one with us, we returned today to place it. It is placed almost opposite the item we spotted, at an obvious feature.
You can almost reach the cache from the track – you certainly do not have to go into any bush area. Please replace it with the natural camo.
You might like to check the equivalent feature at S 41 16.123 E 173 09.885 where somebody did - it is also on this track.
Don't forget that the gates close at dusk. - You can check out the day's closing time on the way onto the island.
Reception was not the best so please post alternative coordinates if you find ours are out. The cache description plus hint will get you there anyway.
