Campground Cache. Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

pscwmoms: We could get this one back up but we think it would be better at this point to let it go and then next year in the camping season we can place a new one with the new Host.
Sorry I let this one linger so long had offers of help that just did not come thought.
Also there is still a ammo can out there burn but I think it could be made new again.

Next life next camping season.

Geocache Description:

In the middle of it all. This ammo box is placed where the campground host can keep an eye on it for us. Use stealth for the others in the park, but the hosts know about it. If you feel like you have been caught by someone you can show the cache off and explain the game. There is a laminated card inside with information.

You come all this way and we wanted you to have the chance to trade items without climbing to the top of the hill. If you have been here before we felt three might be your number to come out again. So we placed three new geocaches.

Please say hello to the campground hosts. The High's will be here most of the time.

Here is the Markham Springs part of the web site. (visit link)

About the trails "Markham Springs Trail System, within the Markham Springs Recreation Area, consists of Bubble Springs Trail, River Trail, Canebrake Trail and Eagle Bluff Trail. These four short hiking trails total about 4 miles, and provide varying levels of difficulty or challenge. They range from the easy, flat 0.2 mile Bubble Springs Trail to the 1.5 mile Eagle Bluff Trail, which is narrower and has pitches with >25% slopes. These trails provide views of the Black River, the historic house, mill pond and wheelhouse located at Markham Springs, and an abundance of wildflowers. There are no amenities available along the trail, but drinking water, vault toilets, picnic and camping facilities are available within the Markham Springs Recreation Area."

Have Fun.

FTF to Naked1, "trifecta" for the area of FTFs, I knew if he had the time he would get these.
