This is an easy roadside cache on the gravel road between the N9 and Nieu-Bethesda. The cache is hidden amongst some rocks close to the entrance of a sheep farm. In the distance one can see the Sneeu berge and Compassberg. The area is renowned for its fossils, rock paintings and interesting fauna and flora. Another reason why I love this part of the Karoo is the wonderful spectacle of the night sky that one can enjoy so much better than in the city with all its artificial light.
