I was caching near Smithfield when I saw a large "SV" carved into a small hill east of me. Since I have a Mountain Monogram Challenge, GC39XAF, I thought it fitting to add another qualifying cache to help with that challenge.
To reach the cache, drive up the dirt road from the intersection of 4400 N and 1000 E. If the road is dry you should be able to make it up easily in a 2WD vehicle. If it's not, you may be better off parking near the bottom of the hill and walking up instead.
The top of the hill where a small microwave tower sits appears to be private property. I placed the cache just outside an old fence line that appears to be the boundary. The "SV" letters are on the private property side of the boundary.
The cache is a cammoed waterprooof match container.
