The Mountz Memorial Park is locally known as Janesville Dam. It is stocked with trout by the PA Fish Commission and also has a healthy bass, panfish and pickerel. If you are lucky you might catch a glimps of one of the resident beaver swimming the lake. Canoes and Kyacks are allowed but you must have a local permit.
When the coins for a CCGT trail are gone, that trail will be archived.
This cache is part of the Clearfield County 2012 Geotrail. It features parks and places of recreational activity. Clearfield County is blessed with many opportunities to enjoy yourself in your “off” time. The county is part of the Pennsylvania Wilds, home to millions of acres of unspoiled forests and mountains for hiking, fishing, biking or just watching the wildlife (www.pawilds.com). In addition to hiking and biking Clearfield County features camping, hunting, golfing and the lists goes on.
