Geocache Description:

You can park in the first area and walk the trail but if you can't walk too far, there is a second parking area that is closer to #2 and #3. More beautiful views and great fishing areas.
Mayo. jar with a few swag items. Big enough for travel bugs and coins.

Kenny Art has been an avid geocacher in the Florence area since 2008. As we place this series of caches he has not only found nearly 2000 caches he has placed about 130 too. We always enjoy hunting for Kenny's caches because they nearly always take us somewhere that we have never been and frequently he provides a good history of the area as well. With the help of some of Kenny's hides we have been getting lots of exercise and that has been great for our health.

Mental & physical exercise, great locations and a history lesson - what could be better!! So Thanks Kenny!... This series of three caches is for you!

Located in Konnie Memorial Park, a fishing area on Lake Creek just off Highway 36 at Old Stagecoach Road in Swisshome. There is a single lane gravel road into the park and two areas to park. All of the caches in this series can be reached from either parking area as a trail connects all of them. This area is just above the confluence of Lake Creek and the Siuslaw River. Fishing is good for salmon and steelhead.
