How many times have you found a cache in a great location only to find a soggy log book? Or even worse yet, a cache full of crummy swag with moldy little crusty dinosaurs. One time I went on a cache hunt as I approached the cache I was thinking what a great cache. When I leaned in to the tree trunk that was waist high, my hopes were still high. I was disgusted when I opened the ammo can. it had a little kids hat in it. Yellow and shaped like a ducks head. This thing was full of dirt and just plain nasty! I could only imagine how a child would be so disappointed finding this. Well here is the good news. You get to visit an awesome historic cemetery and your children get a cache full of swag fit for a prince or princess. I have filled a large size container with Jump ropes, skate boards, playing cards, games, stuffed animals, Puzzles and four bubble thingies. And more. Parking is at the Stinson cemetery. (35 11.773’N 79 1.358’W) This cemetery is a very old local land mark. It is still in use today as you will see by the dates on the stone markers. The cache itself is a short walk from the cemetery; it is lying next to a fallen tree covered with a huge peace of bark and sticks. Please return it like you found it. BYOP.
