Zero Monster Mystery Cache

There are a lot of animals in this area, not all are nice.

The answers you need are in the legend of the Zero monster. The Zero monster can be found by seeking the clues left by the heroes who went before you. The only report of their quest, came from a little girl who left this note:



The Zero monster lived in the far east, but rumors were first heard in the north. In the North, they used the true measuring system like most of the rest of the world and four heroes set out to seek the Zero monster. Arnthor the Yellow went first with his +.5 sword. Bergfinn the Grey came along with his bow that was +3.8. Cnut the Blue brought -.3 mace. And lastly, Dag the Red brought his very unlucky -2.6 spear. Together this group sought out the lair of the Zero monster. When they discovered the monster, they knew they needed help.
And help came from the West. The western heroes used the old system, but they came prepared. First came Ace the Green with his +.2 crossbow. Buster the Yellow brought along a +4.6 catapult. Carson the Red brought a large +2.4 lance. And lastly, Dakota the Blue brought his super strong x10, and +1 sling.

When the heroes gathered, they marveled at the height of the great Zero monster. They attacked from all sides. The monster was too strong. All seemed lost and the heroes lay defeated upon the field. The Zero monster went to finish them, but a small girl who'd been watching from nearby asked the monster to divide into the heroes. The monster considered and tried to divide into the heroes. As the Zero monster divided into the heroes, he realized his error too late and collapsed dead with visions of infinity piercing his brain. The monster lay defeated. The little girl asked the heroes to hide the monster, so they cast a spell causing the monster to appear as a remnant of a tree. They never found the treasure of the Zero monster, but perhaps because the didn't understand the true nature of their victory.
