Welcome to my very first hide on Geocaching.com! I appreciated the Welcome to Wyoming nanos hidden by Bacchus49. In fact, my first found cache within a walk from my house was not the closest, for that container was missing. But Welcome to Wyoming South (GC1V2MX) was the first on my routine morning walks and bike rides. For my first hide, I decided to start small. A nano commemorating Bacchus49's contributions seemed in order. And I should place it within my biking distance, as two thirds of all my finds fit that legacy. Yet some obvious choices had to be avoided: I could not use most of the east edge of Wyoming, because it is defined by the CSX Railroad tracks. Cooper Avenue would have been my first choice, but even though it's off RR property, it's still far less than the prescribed 150 feet. I know several skilled geocachers live not far, and are tuned in for newly announced caches. I'm eager to see who will be First To Find, and if it's someone I've met in the course of the game. CONGRATULATIONS go to CacheCrushers616 on the First To Find! Less than three hours nineteen minutes after I got the email saying the cache was published. ...and this is a Nano, so bring an appropriate writing utensil!
