This micro geocache is located near the Willow Grove recreation area. Originally located just down the road, I've relocated to a safer spot. Hope this one lasts for a nice, long time.
When I was a kid (and that is more years ago than I'm willing to admit!) we had to wait until it was 70º out before we could run through the sprinklers. We spent all our waking hours outside playing. Those early summer days (probably late spring) were filled with bike riding, roller skating, tetherball, flying kites, hopscotch...the list goes on and on. But it wasn't until that wonderful sweet voice on the time/temperature hotline spoke the magic number we were waiting for that would allow us to pull out the slip 'n slid. Turn on the sprinkler. Just get WET!! We would start calling early in the morning. Listening as the temperature slowly climbed. When she finally said 70º it was music to our ears.
This drive along Willow Road, most folks are usually either coming or going from a great place to spend time in or on the water, reminds me of my youth. Of those great summer days. Enjoy!
