Geocache Description:

The walk down to this cache is very nice, but when you arrive at the boardwalk and the view opens up, it is truly awesome.... the Chegwin Trail also makes a very nice loop from here back up.....

Plus..... though hike has very scenic views and a nice boardwalk, ..... the best part is the feeling that you're not in a city at all.... there is no civilization to be seen down here, apart from some very distant hydro towers.... It's easy to imagine that Hamilton has somehow melted away....

Photobucket

Our hope is that this cache will be part of a hike through the fantastic Royal Botanical Gardens South Shore Trails from the Aviary / Churchill Park area of Westdale........

.......... however it COULD be done from the McMaster U. grounds if you had to.
