A romantic old place with wonderful view of Sallent, from different angle than we are used to. The building (or, better, ruin of a building) used to be a fortress and was constructed in 1837 (during the First Carlin War), used also in the Second and Third Carlin War (reconstructed 1875) and from this time on abandoned. On the stone walls there is plenty of ivy-berry and inside the building there are trees and such... BE CAREFUL: the eastern side of the building is situated at the edge of a high cliff and the soil is unstable. Don't climb to see the eastern side, it looks exactly the same as the others and there is no door. Neither try to climb inside, you can get stuck in the window :) Be careful with the kids.

Es un sitio romántico con una vista muy bonita de Sallent, desde un ángulo diferente a como normalmente lo vemos. El edificio (o mejor, la ruina que queda de él) era un fortín de la Primera Guerra Carlina (construido en 1837), aunque usado también en la Segunda y Tercera Guerra Carlina, cuando fue reconstruido en 1875. Desde entonces el fortín está abandonado. En las paredes hay mucha hiedra y dentro del fortín hay árboles y otras plantas. CUIDADO:la pared oriental del edificio está situada en el margen de un barranco y el suelo es inestable. Cuidado con los niňos.
