Out on a short evening hike with my daughter, we found where all the great blue herons hang out.
My daughter and I were out on a short nature hike one evening, and we stumbled upon an amazing display of wildlife that's been right under our noses. Not too far from our nest, we saw a group of great blue herons, great egrets, a momma and daddy goose with there goslings, a nest of baby bunnies, and some beautiful wildflowers. While I checked out the waterfowl, she was at the top picking out hidey holes - I mean don't you carry ready to go caches?
Come out for a quick walk in an unlikely spot, and see how nature is dealing with urban sprawl. Great spot to sit a spell and get some great camera shots in the spring and summer. You're looking for a pill bottle, hidden in the usual way. Please share any wildlife sightings and pictures. May be coyote after sunset, so be forewarned! Should be muggle free most of the time.
