This area was once filled with a large housing project known as Parkside Homes. Built in 1941, the many townhouse units were built for low income families, and were also used to help with the housing shortage during World War II. The well made buildings were brick construction with slate roofs and copper flashing. Many updates through the years kept the buildings up to date and in good condition. A few years ago the housing authority decided to tear it all down and this is the result.
The coordinates listed above are the starting point of the field puzzle and there is nothing located there to find. To find this cache, you will walk to a number of waypoints, from starting point to points A, B, C, etc. through Z in alphabetical order, and your GPSr will give you the final coordinates. Make sure tracks are turned on so your GPSr will show where you have walked. All waypoints for this cache are N 39 46.xxx, W 084 11.xxx. Follow these coordinates in order listed to find the final coordinates. Note the waypoints from A through Z can now be downloaded to your GPSr eliminating the need to enter the coordinates manually. You will only need to enter the final coordinates manually.
