1,000 CACHES!! 100 HIDES!! 50 YEARS YOUNG!!
Please come and join me celebrate my 1,000th cache, 100th hide and my 50th birthday in Ilfracombe, NORTH DEVON.
My aim is to reach 999 by the 15th September with this event becoming my 1,000th on the night. Will I make it?
The above co-ordinates are for the venue, (see photos at the bottom of the page), near Ilfracombe Swimming Pool.
There will be nothing fancy, no balloons or cake or anything like that as it is an event, (I don't "DO" parties), just a nice pleasant evening in a quaint little pub with a good drink, good company and hopefully lots of fellow cachers.
Out there, somewhere, are cachers and local cachers whos names I see in so many log visits around who I would love to meet, so do come along, say hello and share your caching experiences.
A container will be there for you to place any TBs and coins you wish to swap, discover or move on. Please also feel free to bring any coin collections that you have to show off!!
There will be a visitors book for you to sign which will become my birthday souvenir so please don't forget to sign it.
Children are more than welcome but sorry - no dogs.
Although the pub does provide meals, the kitchen is too small to do food in large quantities for the event night I have been told - very sorry.

PARKING: Small pub car park. (Parking for about 6)
OR: Nearby residential.
OR: Hillsborough Swimming Pool Car Park (Free Parking after 6pm and only a short distance away) See below for the co-ordinates.
We have the upstairs room allocated to us and the bar is downstairs. You can't go wrong at this pub - it is a simple upstairs, downstairs! Pictures of the thatched pub are at the bottom of this page.
