A park and grab, almost suitable for wheelchair. Don't go too far for there is a sharp drop off nearby. Recommended for day time clear weather caching . . . stay and dwell a bit, drink in the view and you'll understand the cache name.
Hidden in a popular public viewpoint pull off from a State road, the site offers a majestic view of Lake Cushman, Mount Rose, Mount Washington and Mount Ellinor along the way to Staircase National Park Service entrance to the Olympic National Park and Olympic National Forest. We fell in love with this place from the first look. Great anytime of the year, it is a surprise vantage point of the Southern Olympics. Tougher than it seems at first. Note: Cell phone coverage is very spotty in this area as of August 2020. This is subject to change sometime in the future. For the time being however, let your geo senses do their work for you. Conventional GPS coords were with 10 satellites and varied between 10 and 21 feet accuracy at the time the cache was replaced.
