Geocache Description:

GeoTom

I hid this cache while out on a hike with my four legged caching partner, GeoTom. This geocache is at the very top. The find is not overly difficult but the real reason to take on the adventure is for the journey.
Elevation 6,160 ft.



This hike to GZ for this cache took me over an hour and it was fairly difficult terrain. I did it without any special equipment and without a partner but I would not reccommend it. There is not trail to follow so you will have many options as to how you make it ground zero. The next time I make this particular trek, I will allow for more time to enjoy the spectacular views from the top. I may even cart up a picnic basket. 

While not absolutely necessary, I would suggest doing this one with another cacher for both safety and to share the fun. The cache should not be too difficult to find once you arrive.

Congrats on the FTF and my thanks go out to Denali41. Not only did he grab the FTF but he also helped to make the cache more secure to prevent further tampering by little critters.
