Geocache Description:

Placed in East Carlton Country Park!

This is a beautiful park and a very enjoyable walk.
There are several routes around the walk some short and some are longer.
This one is not to far in depending on which way you attack it!
It is just off a very muggle-friendly path so some stealth my have to be taken!!

East Carlton Countryside Park is situated on the edge of the beautiful Welland Valley.  The Heritage Centre in the converted coach house and stables houses a display featuring the history of Corby and the development of the iron and steel industry in the town.

Play Area - The park includes an all inclusive play area for all ages.

Cafe - The cafe is open all year and offers light meals, hot and cold drinks and ice cream.

Craft Workshops - The first floor of the old coach house has a number of craft workshops where you can watch the individual craftsmen practise their skills.

Country Walks - There are country walks throughout the park, through fine mature woodland and grasslands. You can see a varied habitat and a great variety of wildlife throughout the year.

The Hall - The Hall is unfortunately not open to the public but can be viewed from the park.  The present hall, built in 1863 on the site of a previous hall, is thought to be the third hall on this site.  Like all old buildings, it does have a ghost who has on occasions been known to visit the old coach house.

Usual assortment of goodies, big enough for trackables etc! You are looking for a medium sized cylindrical tub!
Happy Caching
