Geocache Description:


Since there are three quilts on this road, picked one spot for a cache, wife spotted a Tom Turkey crossing the road as I was doing this cache. Quilts on this road "Americana" "Pierced Star" & "Colonial Garden" with the K for Kimmers, our caching daughter in AZ. Since we frequent the Shawano County area quite a bit, for caching, casinoing, and other things, a recent addition has caught our eye, Barn Quilts, started in 2010 by James Leuenberger, today there are over 100 quilts adoring barns and businesses in Shawano County, so we are doing our part to include these gems on your visit to the county. We've picked out some of our favorites, and placed caches by or near them, most areas should be muggle free, and safe parking, P & G's. Enjoy the quilts! We even helped put up a barn quilt on 4-26-2012. Thanks Jim! Also sponsoring a Barn Quilt that was put up June 18th.
