Vid vattentornet bjuds man på milsvid utsikt över en del av Vättern och den lilla bruksorten Olshammar. Två sevärdheter på orten som är väl värda ett besök är Olshammarsgården och Birgittakyrkan. I Olshammarsgården föddes författaren och Nobelpristagaren Verner von Heidenstam och kyrkan som uppfördes 1620 är uppkallad efter den Heliga Birgitta vars make Ulf Gudmarsson ägde Olshammar på 1300-talet.

At the water tower we are treated to the panoramic views over part of the lake Vättern and the small mill village Olshammar. Two landmarks in the community that are well worth a visit is Olshammarsgården and the Birgitta Church. The writer and Nobel laureate Verner von Heidenstam was born in In Olshammarsgården and the church was built in 1620 is named for St. Birgitta, whose husband Ulf Gudmarsson owed Olshammar in the 1300s.
