The Wooden Bridge Traditional Cache

Many old-time campers remember rumbling across the old wooden bridge which used to be the only entrance to Camp Okoboji over the canal. Alas, it was deemed unsafe after many decades of faithful service and had to be replaced with culverts.

Located near where the old wooden bridge once stood, the cache is a medium-sized camouflaged lock-n-lock container with a few small items to trade. This cache is placed with the permission of the camp director. Visitors are welcome to search for caches at Camp Okoboji along with registered campers. Please follow these basic rules: Drive slowly and be careful of kids. You may park almost anywhere, even on the grass, but drive only on the paved or gravel roads. No pets.
